One night during the early morning hours intruders were attempting to enter the home as his family slept. Kuma left the children's room and proceeded to wake the family. While his parents checked on the children, Kuma confronted the intruders as they entered the home. Just a puppy of 6 months, Kuma removed these intruders from the home without loss or harm to his family. In the owners words, "If not for Kuma's actions the intruders would have entered our home, where anything including the unthinkable could have happened. Kuma is and always will be our hero!
